RETURN SLUDGE PUMPS OF SERIES    PKC-M

Application:

Pump is destined for re-pumping sludge or for internal re-circulation of sludge in sewage treatment plants. Pump is designed for pumping stuffs at small delivery heads. When selecting a pump, the customer is requested to specify his requirements for its parameters thoroughly. This pump is intended for operation outdoors.A pumped liquid:        

-  polluted water sludge

-  impeller passage-ability Φ50 mm

-  max. density 1,050 kg.m-3

-  max. temperature 40 C, pH 4 8.5

Design:

Pump has been designed as a monoblock consisting of a submerged electric motor being cooled by a pumped liquid and hydraulic part being separated from the motor by an oil pool, and a pair of mechanical seals. Hydraulic part consists of a three-vane impeller and an axial diffuser. Shape of the propeller blades and arrangement of this pump internal space are destined for pumping liquids with fibrous admixtures.

 Installation:

Pump built-in into a vertical shaft made either of steel pipe or concrete falsework. Fundamental flange separates the suction space from the vertical shaft. Pump can be installed easily and quickly on the steel flange, where sealing of the suction space and its separation from the vertical discharge shaft are ensured by means of o-rings and the pump own weight, without using any bolts.

To realize maintenance, the pump can be lifted simply out of a shaft, by means of a lifting mechanism.
